Mojacar is certainly the most charming resort town in south-eastern Spain,
the white-washed houses and cobbled streets of the town are
scattered atop a hill overlooking immaculate sandy beaches,
washed by the warm Mediterranean. This untouched ancient Moorish
fortress town has been a favorite with artists and writers
for many years, and nowadays attracts holiday-makers who fill
up the hotels and villas which have proliferated along the
nearby stretch of beach.Car
Hire Mojacar is a great way to explore Mojacar Spain.
This impressive Moorish fortress town is situated on a towering crag overlooking a shore
graced by pristine beaches and the Mediterranean, which has a curious difference all of its
own: American cartoonist Walt Disney is said to have been born here, before emigrating with
his parents to the United States.
Luckily, the town has still retained much of its unique quality, with its Moorish
fortress called El Torreon and the Arch of Luciana, as well
as its whitewashed, winding streets, each of which seems to
lead the traveler to a lookout over the Mediterranean.
