Denia is a stunning town along the Costa Blanca. It is rich in history, culture and nature. It has approximately 20 km of coastline. To the north of the town, there are beaches of fine sand and shallow waters. To the south lies a sequence of small coves along the rocky coast, a heaven for fishermen and divers. The town sits at the foot of a hill over looked by a castle; from the hilltop path you'll have an outstanding view of Denia. Amongst the monuments in the town, there is the 18th-century church of the Asuncion; the 17th-century Atarazanas; the cloister and church of San Antonio and the 18th -century, neoclassical town hall building.
If you are in search of an energetic way of life there is ample to do, Sailing, Windsurfing, diving, fishing, there is mountain climbing or hang-gliding, mountain biking or hiking. Not forgetting the golf course in the surrounding area, the Club La Sella.
